Natural and Baroque Treasures of the Royal Road
Description
This tour reveals the most extraordinary artistic patrimony of the baroque of Minas Gerais, striking and genuine expression of the colonial society from the gold and diamond producing regions of this state .It includes a visit to nine cities – all of them elected national and world monuments, connected by the Royal Road throughout three of its four routes: from São João to Ouro Preto, through the Old path; from Ouro Preto to Santa Bárbara, through the Diamond path; finally, the Sabarabuçu path, returning to Belo Horizonte. Studios of renowned artists and craftsmen of the baroque style, cultural experience and beautiful landscape are also included in this tour.

Observation
this tour can be taken in separated parts (throughout one of the Royal Road paths only, for example), as well as be extended to Diamantina (in the extreme north of the Diamond path ) and Serro. Also, visits to villages and colonial districts close to the main cities may be added to the tour, as well as eco-activities, such as trekking. Our tours are guided by specialists.
