A Tour through Peter Lund's Legacy and the history of Lagoa Santa.
Description
To this tour activities were programmed aiming at offering the visitor experience and knowledge related to the discoveries of Peter Lund, in contact with local nature and culture. Hence, besides visits to natural and historical collections of the areas mentioned in First Impressions, it was also proposed an alternative place to taste the delicious coffee and grocers produced in the region, as well as a visit to know the local craftwork and conversations with the craftsmen themselves. In addition, we chose a restaurant where, more than a simple meal, you will be able to try the typical cuisine from Minas Gerais, cooked in wooden stove, in a pleasant atmosphere.

The Peter Lund Museum; the PUC Minas (Catholic University) Museum of Natural Science; the Lapinha Cave; Archeological site (low level of difficulty) or trail ( low level of difficulty) or the Archeological Museum with lithium artifacts workshops, the traditional lunch from Minas Gerais; the Cultural Cafe; Fernão Dias` house.
Observation
Tour not available on Mondays. On Sundays, the visit to the PUC Minas (Catholic University) Museum of Natural Science is not included. Please, check the availability of this tour within fifteen days in advance. Our tours are guided by specialists.
