Lund's Caves with Museum of Natural Science and Guimarães Rosa Museum
Description
This tour begins at the PUC Minas(Catholic University) Museum of Natural Science and covers the three main caves which compose the Rota Lund. Having as a reference the steps and the important discoveries of Danish naturalist Peter W. Lund, the visitor may have the opportunity to contemplate wonderful landscapes and monuments built up by nature itself, besides getting to know a bit the characters, curiosities and stories of the cities along the route. One of the highlights of this tour is the visit to the house where Guimarães Rosa, world´s known writer, was born and spent his childhood, in Cordisburgo and, nowadays, is known as a reference centre of both his life and work.
